The Oil City Derrick, Monday, Jan 12 1891:
George E. Davison died at the residence of B. Gault, on Cottage Hill, at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon, of typhoid fever. He was in his 24th year, and had been employed in Oil City with the Charles Miller Pipe Line for over a year. His father, I. H. Davison, of Polk, was formerly county treasurer. The funeral will be at 9 o'clock today and the remains will be carried to Sunville where the interment will take place in the Sunville cemetery.
