2007 obituary. OXFORD -- Franklin Knight, 64, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at his home, Oxford Meadows, Oxford. He was born on June 22, 1943, in Naples. Franklin was in the tree business in early years and retired from Wilner Wood Heels, South Paris. He was well liked by those who knew him. He provided rides for many who did not drive. His heart was so generous, and he was very kind to those who needed his help. Predeceased by his biological father Franklin Knight; a brother, William I Knight; and son Frank W. Knight. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Elmwood Cemetery on Rayville Rd. in Otisfield.
