Prior to retirement Brenda worked as a pharmacy tech for Branson West Walmart Pharmacy. She had previously worked as a respiratory therapist at St. Johns Hospital.
She married Alan Holt on October 2, 1976 in Moberly and he survives of the home. Also surviving are her children, Bryan Holt and his significant other Jhasmine Watson of Springfield, MO and Matthew Holt and his significant other Jennifer Benedict of Lenexa, KS, grandson, Masen Holt of Lenexa, KS, brothers, Wayne Haskamp and his wife Nadine and Kenny Haskamp and his wife Gina all of Moberly, mother-in-law, Norma Holt of Kimberling City, MO, sister-in-law, Donna Eason, brother-in-law, David Gast both of Lenexa, KS, two nieces, two nephews, other relatives and friends.
Brenda loved attending family functions and spending time with friends. She could always light up a room and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at the visitation which will be Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary service at 6:00 p.m. at the Cater Funeral Home. Services honoring and celebrating Brenda’s life will be Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at the St. Pius X Catholic Church, committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
