ROBERT L. CORBIN
SHELBINA, Mo. — Robert Lawrence Corbin, 52, of Shelbina, died unexpectedly Friday morning (Sept. 14, 1973) in his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Shelbina Baptist Church. The Rev. Allen Bartlett and the Rev. Don Brodhacker will officiate. Entombment will be in Shelbina Mausoleum No. 2.
Mr. Corbin was born July 29, 1921, in Shelby County, a son of Arthur and Ruth Morrey Corbin. He attended Givan and Hightower schools and graduated from Shelbina High School in 1939. He was a member of the Baptist Church, a farmer and dairyman and a member of the board of directors of the Rural Community Fire Assn.
He married MarElla Biere on Sept. 17, 1939. She survives.
Surviving are his parents, a son, Lawrence (Larry) Corbin of Stewartsville, Mo.; three grandchildren; a brother, Charles of Shelbina; and three daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Arlene) Solt and Mrs. Donald (Rowena) Lees, both of Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Burton (Joyce) Codry of Baltimore, Md.
Three infant sons preceded him in death.
The family asks that memorials be given to the American Heart Association.
