Mr. Reginald Samuel Hall, 66, of Frederick, MD passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Pastor Joan D. Hall.
He was born July 14, 1949, to the late James Hall, Sr. and Adelaide Dixon Hall.
Reggie was a very active member of Sugarloaf Mountain Christian Community Church, and a dedicated employee of Frederick Memorial Hospital, where he worked for 28 years. He was a member of several gospel groups, including The Tri-Stan, Quinntones, Men’s Choir of Sugarloaf, and The Faith Gospel Singers, where he served as President.
Reggie had a big personality and an even bigger smile. He was a generous person, always willing to help someone in their time of need. He was warm, sincere and caring, and everyone who knew him, loved him. He loved the Lord.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Stacey Hall, Kelly Athey and Demitrius Hall; five grandchildren, Kayla, Jordan, Katlin and Jamal Giles and Miles Henry-Athey; two brothers, William Hall (Alice), James Hall, Jr. (Jan); three sisters, Joy Onley (Robert), Karen Hall, all of Frederick, and Ann Shivers (Edmond) of Las Vegas, NV; in-laws, Donna Hall, Connie Hall, Sterling & Ruby Brown, Everette & Velma Hayes, Denise Davis-Brown and Betty Jane Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; a god-daughter, Corinthian Carr, and a special brother in Christ, Abie Brown.
Reggie was preceded in death by a son, Anthony E. Hall, two brothers, Albert Hall and Darryl Hall, and one brother in-law, Wayne D. Brown.
The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Monday, January 25, 2016, from 10:00-11:00am. Funerral services will then begin at 11:00am with Elder Janet Gibson and Rev. Louise Reddix officiating.
Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
