Survived by sons, Gary, Gregory, daughter, Linda Weissinger Atkins, brothers, Norbert, Gerald, Lyle; sisters, Virginia and Doris, 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Rochester NY, George served in the U.S. Navy and WW II aboard the Naval Destroyer the USS Laffey 724 during the infamous battle of Okinawa.
