Aubrey L. Lewis, 99, lovingly known as "PaPa," passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016.
Aubrey was born July 14, 1916, in Wizard Wells to Roy Roberson Lewis and Mary Culverhouse Lewis. He worked at General Dynamics and Bell Helicopter before retiring. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hurst.
Aubrey was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Ruffin Lewis; his parents; brothers, Melvin and Clarence; and sister, Audie Green.
Survivors: Daughters, Aneta Rhodes and husband, Jim, of Hurst and Debra Pitts and husband, Raymond, of Glen Rose; brothers, Lee Roy and Wade Lewis; sisters, June Navratil, Marjorie Mauldin and Lavena Spradley; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
