ALEXANDRIA, IN-Hope L. Johnson, 51, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Community Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness. Hope was born on September 14, 1964 in Anderson, Indiana to Robert and Patsy (Vaught) Mohler. She was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School-Class of 1983. Hope had worked for Worth and Pyrotech Racing formerly of Alexandria retiring in 2006. She enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting and was a loyal fan of the Colts and Pacers. She devoted herself to the care and nurturing of her family. Survivors: Husband-John Johnson-married February 24, 1984 Daughter-Jennifer Johnson-Anderson 2 Sons-Zachary Johnson-Anderson Michael (Jacole) Johnson-Alexandria 9 Grandchildren-Drake Johnson, Bella Osborne, Owen Osborne, Jett Johnson, Jentry Johnson, Leevi Koons, Caleb Johnson, Leighton Johnson, Kingston Waugh Brothers-Jesse Mohler and Shane Van Horn both of Anderson, Robert Lee (Carol) Mohler Jr.-Alexandria Aunt-Phyllis Barton-Alexandria Several nieces, nephews and cousins She was preceded in death by her parents Services honoring Hope's life and legacy will take place at 1 pm on Saturday, January 23, 2016 in the Owens Funeral Home, 412 North Harrison Street, Alexandria with Dr. Michael Deutsch officiating.
