He was born in Des Moines on February 7, 1965, the son of Gaylord and Mildred M. Cunningham.
Brian worked at Casey's Warehouse for 20 years and was a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan.
He also was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, golfing, and canoeing. Brian attended Adventure Life Church in Altoona.
Brian is survived by his sons, Joshua James Cunningham and Jacob Thomas Cunningham; sister, Terri M. Cunningham; ex-wife, Jonie Cunningham; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaylord and Mildred M. Cunningham; brother, Chris A. Cunningham; and grandparents, Glen and Carrie Thomas.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Adventure Life Church, 1700 8th Street SW in Altoona, with burial to follow at Franklin Township Cemetery.
