Linda is called "Linnie" on nearly all records.

Linnie married Rowland G. Hammond on December 30, 1893. She was then age 16 to his 27. They lived first in South Livermore where three children were born, and a fourth child was born in Turner. The following birth dates are from census and vita records:

Netina born November 29, 1895
Margaret born May 1897
Earl born November 21, 1898
Reginald born August 9, 1902

Of these, two died young: two-month-old Earl died in Jan. 1899 and 4-year-old Netina in April 1900.

They lived in Turner, Fayette and Livermore. Rowland worked as a teamster to haul cream, as a farmer and at one point worked on a road crew.

From the March 15, 1950 issue of
the Lewiston Daily Sun:

"SOUTH LIVERMORE-- Mrs. Linnie Hammond, 71, wife of Rowland Hammond, died Sunday afternoon at the CMG hospital, Lewiston, following years of illness.

"She was born in Livermore, Nov. 3, 1879, the daughter of Marcus and Loduscia Jones Keith. The Hammonds celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary last Jan. 1.

"Survivors include her husband; a daughter Mrs. Margery Stetson, Livermore, Reginald; four grandchildren, Mrs. Rachael Buckley of Leeds, Carlton, Margaret and Barry Hammond and two great-grandchildren."
