Timothy Steven Armstrong, 64, of Cedar Hill, Texas and formerly of Muncie, died early Saturday morning, January 16th, 2016 at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was born November 29th, 1951 in Muncie and was the son of the late Herman & Marjorie (Cross) Armstrong.

Timothy was a5th degree black belt in Martial Arts, he trained multiple Indiana state and national Karate champions. He enjoyed playing guitar, hunting and fishing. Timothy loved to ride his custom bikes. His employment included Rock Tenn, Advanced Materials, CR England, and Armstrong’s Karate School.

Timothy is survived by his children David, Timothy and Jacob Armstrong; grandchildren David, Naomi, and Austin; two sisters Ruth Heckman and Janet Cook; nieces and nephews Pam Alsip, Curt Armstrong, Tammy Messersmith, and Kim Sloan.

Funeral Services for Timothy will be held Friday, January 22nd, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home
