Audrey was born in Rochdale, Lancashire, England, where she met and married Jim and their five children were born.
While living in England, two sister missionaries knocked on the door to share the gospel that changed her life; eventually, Audrey and Jim joined the LDS Church and in 1965 moved their family to Salt Lake City. Audrey was very involved in the church and was always a great example to those around her.
She is remembered as very kind, honest, patient, and loving, always having time to talk or send a hand-written note or card. She loved her family unconditionally and touched the hearts of everyone she met.
She loved acting and starred in many plays. She also enjoyed dancing and singing, gardening, baking currant flats, playing board games, solving word jumbles and crossword puzzles, being outdoors - and just about anything, as long as she was spending time with her family.
She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her brother (Derek), children (Anthony, Jacqueline, Jonathan, Trasi, and David), nephew (Ian), fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Willow Grove LDS Chapel (8539 South 2200 West in West Jordan), with a viewing one hour prior to the funeral.
