Memorial services were held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery for Chad Everett Hall of Artesia with Don Canada officiating.

Hall, 42, passed away Dec. 17, 2015, in Lubbock, Texas.

Chad was born Jan. 20, 1973, in Las Cruces, the son of Bobby K. Hall and Janet Cothern Hall.

He was the grandson of Wilford Cothern and Melodese Cothern of Fairacres, who preceded him in death.

He was the office manager at Critter Care. He had a strong love of dogs and was an active member of several Boxer Rescue organizations.

Survivors included his parents, Bob and Janet Hall, of Artesia; sister, Crystal Baca of Stephenville, Texas; and nephew Caden Cooper Baca. Also survived by uncles, Howard (Dora) Cothern of Las Cruces, and Steve (Tracy) Cothern of Clovis; aunts, Carolyn (Tony) Salas and Sandra (Bob) Slater of Alamogordo; and many extended family members.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.
