Mrs. H. Wilcox Dies at Stanwood
M'GILL DISTRICT RESIDENT PASSES AT AGE OF 77
Mrs Henry Wilcox, 77, died Monday at her home in McGill district southeast of Stanwood after a two weeks illness. Mrs. Wilcox was born in London, Ontario, the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Isaac Hornby. She came to Mecosta county in 1864 with her parents and has spent most of her life in this vicinity.
Mrs. Wilcox is survived by her husband and two sons by a former marriage, Earl Lyons of Pontiac, and Harry Lyons at home. Two daughters, Mrs. Mary Smith and Mrs. Hannah Anderson, have preceeded their mother in death.
Mrs. Wilcox is also survived by 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs William Bachlee of Harbor Springs, and Mrs. Louisa Brown and Mrs. Grant Keeler of Grand Rapids.
Arrangements for funeral services had not been arranged today.
