Harry G. Ebbs of Buffalo Run Valley died at the Cramer Nursing home in Pine Grove Mills Tuesday night, July 5, 1949. Born February 28, 1863, in Loveville, Centre County, he was a son of James and Elizabeth Gray Ebbs. He was first married to Ella Beck who died in 1898. He later married Anna Heberling who died on June 24, 1942. Surviving are four children: Mrs. Earl G. Myers of Port Matilda, R.D.; Mrs. Howard Miller, Kansas City, MO; Joseph, of Beech Creek; George, of Coraopolis. He was a member of Gray's Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be held at the Koch Funeral Home, State College, at 2 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. F. W. Montgomery of the State College Methodist church officiating. Interment will be made in the Ross cemetery, near Marengo. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight (Thursday).
