Marcus W. Welch, 61, of 424 South St., a male nurse at Broadacres Hospital for several years until his retirement, died Sunday in Rome Hospital of a heart attack, according to Oneida Coroner Thomas Cox, Rome.
He was born in Utica, and attended Utica schools. He lived in Rome and Clinton, returning to Utica 25 years ago.
He leaves a sister. Mrs Lewis J (Eleanor) Rashford of Madison, and a brother, Jack D. Welch of Boonville.
The funeral will be at 10 tomorrow from the Doyle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery
