Laura “Pat” McIntyre, 102, of Lafayette died Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Rosewalk Commons.

She was born June 18, 1913, in Randolph County, IN, to the late David and Tycia Sowash Lamb. On July 28, 1955 she married Claude McIntyre in Lafayette. They had 40 years of enjoyment and travel before Claude passed away on March 21, 1995. Pat worked at Sarge Oaks for 30 years as a waitress and bookkeeper, retiring in 1976.

Surviving is her sister Katherine Shoults of Fortville, 2 grandsons, a grandson-in-law Mark Kantz, 2 great granddaughters, 2 great grandsons, and her very close and loving friend DeEtta Koning.

Pat was preceded in death by daughters Barbara Engelbrech, Mary Lou Johnson, 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 2 great grandsons and 3 sisters.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Service will be 10:00 AM Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, Pastor James Chase officiating. Interment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
