Dolores Harris, of DeSoto, Texas, passed away on November 7, 2015, at the age of 87. Dolores was born in Carthage, Texas, on August 9, 1928. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert Troy Harris, her parents, Clarence and Lois Wroten, and a brother, Dick Wroten. She is survived by her children, Mike Harris of Arlington, Texas, Susan Harris of Mill Valley, California, Kent Harris and Brent Harris of Dallas, Texas; and a sister, Ruby Grimes of Carthage, Texas. After raising her family in Dallas, Dolores worked as a buyer for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service in Dallas for over 20 years. She had been retired and living in DeSoto for 25 years. Dolores was a loving mother, and a friend to many. She had a kind heart, and was open and accepting to all. She loved to laugh and managed to find humor through life's trials. She gave all to her children, and they will remember how she loved them. Funeral services are 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 12, 2015, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Little Bethel Memorial Park. Visitation with the family is 5:30 - 7:00 pm, on Wednesday, at Jaynes.
