He was born May 2, 1931, in Jersey County, son of William E. and Letha (Perdun) Ogden, both deceased.
He married Billie Westbrook Nov. 4, 1950, in Alton.
He was in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1951-1952. He was a retired machinist from Owens-Illinois in Godfrey.
Survivors include his wife Billie Ogden; children: William "Scott" and Debi Ogden of Ft. Worth, Texas., Howard "Steve" and Kay Ogden of Carrollton, Illinois, Debbie and Michael Glenn of Nokomis, Illinois, and Timothy and Debbie Ogden of Godfrey, Illinois; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Connie Sue Anderson, brother, Rupert Ogen.
