Jack Lane was born in Galena, Kansas on November 28, 1935 to Harold F. Lane and Gladys (Wiggins) Lane. Later the family moved to California and spent some time in Boron, Calif. Jack served time in the Army during the Korean war. In 1957, he married Flo Holliday and they went on to have four children. They later made their home in Lompoc, Calif. His wife, Flo died in October 1987 after 30 years of marriage. Jack worked for Phillips Petroleum in both California and Oklahoma before he retired and moved to Coffeyville, Kansas. Jack attended the Lewark Church of God. Jack leaves his four children, Mike, Mark, Rick and Shawna Lane Kelley. He was preceded by his parents and his brother Eugene "Earnie" Lane.
