DISCREPANCY RE DATE OF BIRTH: Multiple databases on RootsWeb/WorldConnect show John Cherry's birth on 5 Sept 1765 in Berkeley Co, VA [now WV]. That date and place are used on this memorial, but the information in the McBrides' book (presumably reflecting their reading of the tombstone) would indicate a date of birth of 22 Sept 1772.

WIFE: Rebecca Anthony, said to have been born 3 Jan 1778 "of Highland Co, OH" (but that's awfully early for a Highland Co birth) and to have died 16 Apr 1850. Where is she buried?
