UNION - Emma Lee Mease Inman, 74, of 212 Hancock St. died June 28, 2000, at Wallace Thomson Hospital after an extended illness. A native of Canton, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Leaton R. and Amy Henson Mease. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and was a worker with the Mon-Aetna Baptist Church Deaf Mission Ministry. Surviving are seven sisters, Berlyn Head, Nina Austin, Nadine McCall, Pauline Sanders, Jaynelle Garner and Loretta Patrick, all of Union, and Donna Youngblood of Jonesville; and a brother, R.L. Mease of Tampa, Fla. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Morningside Baptist Church conducted by the Revs. Eddie Saxton and Alvin Biggerstaff. Burial will be in Lower Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight and will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Friday to await the hour of service. The family is at the home of her sister Mr. & Mrs. Jack McCall, 307 Walker St., Union. Memorials may be made to the Mon-Aetna Baptist Church Deaf Mission Ministry, 1431 Lockhart Highway, Union, S.C. 29379. S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
