She lived her entire life in Washington County. Through the years she worked at Gordon Garment, Country Miss, and Greendale Elementary School Cafeteria. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Carson Trent; and one daughter, Hassie Elizabeth Trent.
Survivors include one son, Timothy Trent and wife, Gayle of Bristol, Va.; three sisters, Mary Ellen Sheppard and husband, Lonnie, Kathy Ruth Henderson and husband, Larry, all of Bristol, Tenn., and Carol Sue Wright of Abingdon; two brothers, Mike Mitchell and wife, Linda of Bristol, Tenn., and Larry Mitchell of Bristol, Va.; two grandchildren, Lianna Trent, and Nicholas Trent, both of Bristol, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with the Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
The family will receive friends at the Frost Funeral Home on Monday, January 18, 2016, from 6 until 8 p.m.
