MOUNT HOLLY - Martha Leona Jones Hart, 85 of 420 W. Glendale Ave., died April 13, 2011, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.

A native of Stanley, she was born July 20, 1925, daughter of the late Thomas William and Willlie Beach Jones and wife of the late John Franklin Hart.

Married on January 5, 1946, they were married for 56 years before his death in 2002. She was a loving mother of six children. Mrs.
Hart was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte.

Survivors include her children, Iris Millsap and husband Wayne of Charlotte, Johnny Hart and wife Arlene of Stanley, Wanda Mullis of Stanley, Can-dace Carlisle and husband Wayne of Mount Holly, Jane Keever and husband Roger of Stanley, Allen Hart of Huntersville; brother, Garth D. Jones of Charlotte; sister, Judy Norwood of Kings Mountain; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service -Catawba Heights Baptist Church. The Revs. Raymond Johns and Max Pendleton officiated.

Burial Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
