Larry Kimble, 58, died on September 7, 2006 at Akron General Medical Center following a brief illness. He was the son of Wanda Tyner. He married Charlene A. Kimble on October 16, 1988. He attended the University of Akron and then served in the U.S. Air Force from March 28, 1968 until August 31, 1989. He served as a flight simulator personnel and was a master sergeant as a QA personnel. After his military career, he worked for Hughes Aircraft in quality assurance for several years. He returned to Akron in 1992 to care for his terminally ill parents, and remained in the Akron area after their passing. He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Nathaniel and Florine Kimble; and brother, Mitchell "K-9" Kimble. He was survived by his wife, son, daughter, mother, brother, stepdaughter, stepbrother, three stepsisters, grandson, and four stepgrandchildren.
