Raising five athletic children, she was one of the original "Soccer Moms". She enjoyed cooking, sewing, ceramics and puzzles. She was a long time member of St. Therese Catholic Church, where she was instrumental in starting a youth program many years ago.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Raymond Strothman, Sr.; parents, William and Catherine Marie Adams; and a brother, Ray Adams.
She is survived by her children, Donald Raymond Strothman, Jr. (Rose), Cheryl Hall (Mike), Steve Strothman (Carolyn), Karen Kargl (Tom), and Doug Strothman (Tammy); 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Bill, Robert, Kenny, Tracy, Richard (Nancy) and Carl (Elaine) Adams.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2012 with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
