He graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1937. He fought in World War II as a technical sergeant with the 628th Tank Destroyer Division. After the war, he became a federally employed machinist at the Naval Ordinance Plant in York, PA. In 1960 he became a Government Inspector
for defense contracts and retired in 1975. Paul was a member of the American Legion Post #0321 of Littlestown, PA and the Gettysburg Antique Car Club.
He is survived by one daughter, Jane Gans and her
husband George, two grandsons; Paul Gans and his wife Jen, Tom Gans and his wife Hilary, two greatgrandchildren; Kylah and Maddox Gans, two stepchildren; David Slusser and his wife Kay, Nancy Snyder,
three stepgrandchildren, seven stepgreatgrandchildren, one stepgreatgreatgrandchild as well as numerous
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two brothers; Raymond Little, Wilbur Little and his
stepgrandchild.
Following a funeral service to celebrate and remember Paul's life with his pastor, the Rev. Alex Martini officiating, burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery, McSherrystown, PA. Full military honors will be provided by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
