Paul Francis Little, 97, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Homewood at Plum Creek of Hanover, PA. Born November 1, 1918, eleven days prior to the end of World War I, in Adams County, he was the son of the late Edmund and Alice (Spangler) Little. In December of 1945 he married Marion Leonard and enjoyed 52 years of marriage until her death in July of 1998. In July of 2000, he married Evelyn Gitt Slusser DeGroft who survives him.

He graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1937. He fought in World War II as a technical sergeant with the 628th Tank Destroyer Division. After the war, he became a federally employed machinist at the Naval Ordinance Plant in York, PA. In 1960 he became a Government Inspector
for defense contracts and retired in 1975. Paul was a member of the American Legion Post #0321 of Littlestown, PA and the Gettysburg Antique Car Club.

He is survived by one daughter, Jane Gans and her
husband George, two grandsons; Paul Gans and his wife Jen, Tom Gans and his wife Hilary, two greatgrandchildren; Kylah and Maddox Gans, two step­children; David Slusser and his wife Kay, Nancy Snyder,
three step­grandchildren, seven step­great­grandchildren, one step­great­greatgrandchild as well as numerous
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two brothers; Raymond Little, Wilbur Little and his
step­grandchild.

Following a funeral service to celebrate and remember Paul's life with his pastor, the Rev. Alex Martini officiating, burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery, McSherrystown, PA. Full military honors will be provided by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
