Gail Stanley, 73, of Chillicothe, died Friday, Oct. 13, 1995, at her home. She was born Feb. 6, 1921 in Ross County to George H. & Rachel R. Sullivan Pence. On Jan. 1, 1938 she married Roy B. Stanley, who survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Rachel Pence, Chillicothe; daughter & son-in-law, Karen and Rick McKee, four sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Joan, Bill and Jane, Rodney and Debi, Patrick and Jayne; and son Dennis; 7 granddaughters; 7 grandsons; 18 great-grandchildren; 14 nieces and 11 nephews; sisters Helen(Jean) Neiberline and Linda(Dewey) Cassel; brothers, Lewis, David(Cecilia), Jack(Ruth), James(Billie), and Dwight(Phyllis) Pence. She was predeceased by brothers, Herbert L. and George Murl Pence; one sister, Nancy S. Havens; one granddaughter; one niece and nephew.
Mrs. Stanley was a homemaker and had been an Avon representative for over 35 years. She was a member of Etam United Methodist Church, Adelphi Temple 520, Pythian Sisters, and was a Past District Deputy for District 2 of the Pythian Sisters in Ohio, and the Ross Lake Extension Homemakers.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Life Crown Chapel, Kinnamon Lane in Pleasant Valley with Revs. Roger Webb and William Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Chillicothe. Friends may call at the Fisher-Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. and from noon until time of service on Monday at the church. A Pythian Sisters service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
