Raymond Burton Cunningham, was born 10/12/1929 in Chicago, Illinois to his parents Raymond A. and Aimee G. Cunningham. He was the first born of three sons.
Survived by his wife Patricia C. of Largo,FL., son Raymond, Dunedin, FL., daughters: Rhoda Gibler, Eagle Creek, OR., Kimberly Ireland, S.C., and Aimee Rainey, Clearwater, FL.. Also ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. His close, lifelong friends were Jim Aebel and Russ Anderson.
Raymond was a Catholic, a farm boy at heart, a member of YMCA and the Elks Club. He worked for Pontiac Motors, Holly Carburetor, was a State Farm agent, retired from Montgomery Ward and worked as a salesman for Sears until age 70. He played on bowling, basketball and softball leagues. His hobbies include playing cards, puzzles and he was a crossword puzzle addict. He also loved history.
Raymond graduated from Pershing High School and studied Engineering at Lawrence Institute of Technology.
Raymond and his brothers had hundreds of stories of mishaps and mayhem on "The Farm" in Minnesota where they worked hard, but had a lot of fun. He was instrumental in assisting his father with patented inventions, one being the Cunningham Hay Conditioner on display at "The Arches", between Winona and Lewiston Minnesota. He was part of Ray Cunningham and Sons Hay Conditioner, along with his father and brothers.
Raymond will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
