SARDIS, Ga. - Margaret Louise Mitchum Cole, 65, formerly of Burke County, GA went to be with her Lord Sunday, September 13, 2009 in Highland-Cashiers Hospital in North Carolina Mrs. Cole a beloved mother was born AUGUST 12, 1944 to the late Dorothy Long Rushton, was a former employee of Plant Vogtle and former bookkeeper for Peel & Bailey, CPA. Mrs. Cole was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Walter Cole, Sr.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Jody) Cole Crews of Franklin, NC; her son, Frederick W. (Mona) Cole, Jr. of Otto, NC and three grandchildren, various half brothers and sisters, and a niece and nephew. Crowe-Fields Funeral Home of Millen in charge of arrangements.
