Martha Jo (Moon) Buchanan Nov. 3, 1931 - Apr. 1, 2008 Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary Recitation of the Rosary and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held today, Tuesday, April 8, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 900 H St., for Martha Jo Buchanan. Martha is survived by her "childhood sweetheart" and husband of 61 years, Carl. Martha and Carl were a couple admired by all who knew them. You would never see one without the other. Martha is also survived by her five children, daughters, Gini Buchanan, Judy Buchanan Shumaker and husband, Ron, Mekale Buchanan Elliott; sons, Nick Buchanan and wife, Dao, and Mike Buchanan; grandchildren, Mandi LaForce Dickey and husband, Darrin, Jeff LaForce, Ryan Buchanan, Austin Thomason and Shelby Buchanan; great-grandchildren, Josh, Kaleb and Andrew Dickey.
