Dustin Duane Hicks was born on August 25, 1956 to Arnold and Virginia Hicks (Ott) in Wenatchee, WA. He lived in Spokane, WA, until he went into the U.S. Navy and served for 15 years; and then the civil service for six years.
He married his loving wife Debra Ann Swanger (Heaps) on March 7, 1987.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years; his son Corey Arnold Hicks; his two sisters, Roxanne Swinkels and Susie Hicks; his three brothers: Justin Hicks, Rusty Hicks and half brother John Ott. He was loved by his siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Some of his hobbies were computers, reading, watching how-to car shows; he loved working on and fixing cars.
Now he is in the company of his dad, mom and other family members watching over all of us with love and support as we continue on.
The services will be at held at Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake on January 29, 2016 at 11:15 a.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2625 N. Normandie Ave, Spokane, WA, after the service.
