Our beautiful, blue eyed angel Marla Marie Hill, formerly of Burley, passed away at her home on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the young age of 63, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Marla was born, April 05, 1952 a daughter of the late Elwin Lowel and Ida "Jean" Steube of Heyburn, ID. She is survived by her devoted husband, Barry Hill; daughters, Sherry Young, Lori Hayden and Kitt Hill; sons-in-law, Denny Young, Dennis Hayden and future son-in-law, Charlie Anderson; brothers, David (the late Diane) Steube, Les (Valle) Steube; sister, Karen (John) Kestle; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren with four on their way and 2 dogs, Elvis and Ringo.
Marla and Barry defined true love by staying in love for 43 years of marriage. They knew each other for five short days before taking their vows. They had many adventures together with camping, hunting, fishing and driving truck. Marla received her CDL and soon after earned her 100,000 mile award with Doug Andrus driving team with her husband and best friend.
Marla's wishes were to have a "Celebration of Life" so that friends and family can share stories of her life. So please join us Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Kool Beanz Café on Snake River Landing between the hours of 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
