He was adopted at the age of six by his Aunt Elizabeth and her husband Raymond Tuck and moved to Springfield, MO, at that time taking the Tuck name.
Larry graduated in the first graduating class from Hillcrest High School in 1959. He spent three years in the Army, stationed in Kansas, working as a Nike Hercules live missile Radar operator. After leaving the Army he attended classes at Drury College, Springfield, MO.
Larry sold cars for many years in the Springfield area at some of the larger agencies. He then started his own business in 1985, the L T Floor Service, and ran a very successful business until his retirement. He was a member of North Point Church and was very active in AA. He also coached many youth baseball and basketball teams in the Republic, MO area, and could answer any sports trivia question you might throw at him.
He was preceded in death by his stepsons, Robert Irvine and Douglas Irvine of Republic.
Larry is survived by a daughter, Loretta "Lori" Page and her husband Robert; two sons, David Tuck, and Kelly Tuck and wife Debbie; a stepdaughter, Cindy Irvine; a stepson, Kenny Irvine; his longtime friend and partner, Phillis Foster Irvine; three granddaughters; and nine step grandchildren.
