Mr. Ralph Anderson,age 92, of Carthage and a long time resident of Defeated Creek, died Friday evening, January 15, at Riverview Regional in Carthage.
He is survived by: wife, Ruth Anderson; daughter, Carolyn Mahaney and husband Gary of Turkey Creek; sister Joella Gregory of Carthage; 4 grandchildren, Anissa Pennington and husband Brad of Defeated Creek, Christy Eatherly and husband David of Rock City, Tiffany Angel and husband Stacy of Carthage, Lance Anderson and wife Holly of Tanglewood; daughter-in-law, Linda Anderson Claywell and husband Phil of Buffalo; 10 great-grandchildren, Jared Ausband, Heather Hays, Addison Harris, Kelsy Harper, Kasey Eatherly, Kayla Eatherly, Hailey Angel, Gracey Angel, Hannah Anderson, and Bella Anderson.
Mr. Anderson is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Monday afternoon, January 18, at 1:00 PM. Eld. Kevin Graham and Bro. Shawn Shepherd will officiate. Interment in the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens. Joe Neal, David Eatherly, Lance Anderson, Jared Ausband, Brad Pennington, Stacy Angel, Charles Kemp and Terry Mundy will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will begin on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to Cornwells Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
