Kathryn Brooks Akin Gill, caring wife, mother, daughter and friend died Friday December 5, 2014 in Whitehouse, Texas. She was born in Houston, Texas on November 10, 1957. Kathryn was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by her husband, James gill, son Daniel Gill, father Baker Akin, sister Rosanne Akin, sister and brother-in-law Sarah and Bennett Brown, and their son Baker Brown. She was a graduate of Texas A&M and Baylor College of Medicine. Kathryn was a devoted pediatrician that took great care in helping children with special needs and their families; Kathryn was an avid reader and game player. She enjoyed traveling and baseball. Her kind heart and quick wit will be remembered by family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Heights Christian Church on Saturday December 20, 2014 at 11:00 am.
