Lewis Adams, 78, was the son of Charles and Angeline Blanchard Adams. He married Irene E. Hardy July 19, 1873 in Essex, Vermont. She died many years ago.
Mr. Adams died Tuesday at 71 Park Street where he made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Irene Whitcomb. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church.
He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Whitcomb, Mrs. James Farrell of Bellows Falls; three sons, Lewis of Windsor, George of Ascutney, and Benjamin of Hoosatonic, MA. One sister, Mrs. Ida Hunt of CA also survives.
