Marvin Stone 79, of Greenville passed away Thursday January 14, 2016. Marvin was a son of the late Samuel & Bessie (Medlin) Stone. He was the loving husband for 35 years of the late Mary Ann (Daniel) Stone. He was retired from Michelin and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, & great grandfather. He severed his country faithfully in the United States Army & proudly served during the Korean War. Marvin is survived by three daughters; Angie Crowe & her husband Mark, Annette Randall & Tony Jeffcoat, and also Kathy Green & her husband James, one son; Rodney Galloway & his wife Cindy, 14 Grandchildren, & 9 Great-Grandchildren, one brother; William Medlin, one sister; Marie Medlin. He is preceded by a son Billy Marshall Stone, & one sister Nancy Bridgeman. Funeral services will be Monday January, 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm at The Graceland Mortuary Chapel with visitation being held an hour prior at 1:00 pm, also at The Graceland Mortuary. With entombment will be held following services at Graceland Cemetery-WEST.
