Mr. Traylor was born on September 12, 1934 in Carroll County, Georgia to the late Shell and Kate Williamson Traylor. He worked for many years in the banking business in Bowdon, beginning with The Commercial Bank and staying with them through the transition to Trust Company, and later to SunTrust. He held many positions, but retired as the Branch Vice President of Operations.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Bilbow Traylor.
In accordance with Mr. Traylor’s wishes, a private graveside service was held at New Hope United Methodist Cemetery on Monday, January 11, 2016.
