Note: Auburndale is a "neighborhood" or "area" in Newton. Oliver and Alice married almost into 1803; he may have been m1. to somebody who died around the time of the birth of Charles Otis. Alice, of course raised Charles Otis, but I don't think she could be his birth mother. Alice (Gragg) Driscoll was b. 22 Jan 1804; and, there is a stop of births until Feb 1809. This means Caroline Matilda was prob b. 1805 - 1808.
