Ann Louise (Schroeder) Peters beloved wife of Leroy of Madison, WI passed away on January 13, 2016 in Madison. She was born July 7, 1937 in Two Rivers. After graduating from the Two Rivers High School Ann married her soulmate, Leroy Peters. Together they raised 8 amazing children. Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, playing with her 11 grandchildren and cheering on the Badgers and Packers. Ann will be greeted in Heaven by her parents: Elmer and Evelyn Schroeder, her in-laws: Andrew and Loretta Peters, her daughter: Lori Peters, and grandson: Cody Kibler. She was further preceded in death by 5 brothers-in-law: Ralph, Vincent, Virgil, Ken and Duwayne, and by one sister-in-law: NancyAnn will be missed by her beloved husband of 57 years: Leroy, their children: Terry (Robin) Peters, Sue Peters, Jerome Peters, Tom (Birgit) Peters, Lee (Melanie) Peters, James (Michelle) Peters and Dawn (Roger) Kibler, her grandchildren: Kourtney and Michael Peters, Katie Dykas, Dominique and Justin Peters, Hunter and Brooke Peters, Logan and Boone Peters, and Lauren and Max Kibler. She is further survived by her brother: James Schroeder and sister: Jane (Lee) Nebel, sisters-in-law: Joan Kochan and Bonnie Peters, brother-in-law: Jerome (Carolyn) Peters. The Peters family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics who gave her the exceptional care she deserved. God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around her and whispered, Come With Me.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 20, 2016 at the Knollwood Mausoleum Chapel, Hwy. 310 in Manitowoc with the Reverend John Becker officiating. Burial will take place in the Knollwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
