Christopher Ray Grant, 52, companion of Jo Anne Murdaugh of 18 years, of Beaufort, SC passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, GA.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 5 to 7 pm at Anderson Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 11 am at Carl Anderson Memorial Chapel with entombment in Forest Lawn Mausoleum.
Christopher was born on September 2, 1963 in Spartanburg, SC to Janice Watford Grant and the late James Grant.
He worked as a truck driver for Modern Transportation in Savannah, GA and served our country in the US Navy.
Surviving in addition to his companion, Jo Anne; are two brothers, Earl Grant and Tony Grant; a sister, Peggy Ann Hall; a step son, Sam Murdaugh; two step daughters, Glenda Larios and Linda Anderson; and six adoptive grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct. Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979
