Adam J. Jelski, age 48, of Hammond, IN passed away Monday, January 13, 2014. He is survived by two brothers: Ron (Martha) Jelski and Mike (Nina Corazzo) Jelski; one sister, Dianna (Kenneth) Durbin; fiancee, Kathy Lynch; four nephews: Brian and Mike Jelski, Tom (Rhonda) Jelski and Joseph (Nataliya) Durbin; three nieces: Laura (Eric) Mantel, Karen Jelski and Julie (Tim) Johnson; two great nephews: Jacob Mantel and Ethan Johnson; and one great niece, Lillian Mantel.
Mr. Jelski was preceded in death by his parents: Adam and Florence Jelski; and brother, Christopher Jelski.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 17, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN with Rev. Edward Moszur officiating.
Interment will be private. Friends are invited to meet with the family Friday, January 17, 2014 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. (5:00 p.m. service) at Kuiper Funeral Home.
Adam was an avid fisherman and a person with a big heart. He brought joy and laughter to all the lives he touched.
