Kaysville/Brigham City – Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Barbara Whitehead Andrew, 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 11, 2016 in Kaysville, Utah.

She was born on November 26, 1932 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Edgar E. and Ruth Annie Blaylock Whitehead.

She graduated from Ogden High School and BYU.

Barbara married Frederick Chadwick Andrew on September 2, 1955 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on April 6, 1996.

She had lived in Ogden, Brigham City, and Kaysville.

Barbara enjoyed cooking, sewing and being with her family.

Surviving are her five children: Cyndi Andrew of Omaha, NE; Miriam Lynne Andrew of Chicago, IL; Susan A. (Steven) Speirs of Kaysville, UT; Janet A. (Bradley) Orme of Knoxville, TN; F. Chad (Holli) Andrew of Albuquerque, NM; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; one brother, Richard (Marva) Whitehead of Ogden, UT.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frederick C. Andrew, two sisters, Leslie Ann Mickelson and Lynne Mignon Whitehead.
