Columbus, GA- Mrs. Cynthia Kaye Floyd, 64, of 6300 Milgen Road, Apt. 1174, Columbus, GA passed Friday, January 8, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. EST, Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church, Columbus, GA with Dr. J.H. Flakes, III, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City, AL. Visitation is Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 12 - 8 p.m. EST with a Delta Sigma Theta - Omega Omega Service at 5 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.

Mrs. Floyd was born May 4, 1951 in Columbus, GA to Lucinda Griffin Wiggins of Phenix City, AL and the late Marion Wiggins, Jr. She was a member of Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church, had been employed with Chattahoochee Valley Community College and was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

Survivors other than her mother include her husband, Johnie Floyd; one son, Terrence Floyd; one brother, Vincent (Kimberly) Wiggins and a host of other relatives and friends.
