Loving father to Pamela (Mike) Salata, Patricia (Dave) Lekich, Carl David (Melissa) Roy. Loving grandfather Pawp to Andrew (Amanda) and Dylan Salata, Nicholas and Timothy Bouyoukos, Chelsey, Sam and Ethan Roy. Great-grandfather to Alexia and Harper. Son of the late Mamie (nee Achter) and Frank Roy, brother to Viola, the late Lucille, Frank Bud, Virginia, Elnora, Juanita andCharles. Dear brother-inlaw, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend. WW II Navy veteran Seaman 1st class on the USS Pogy (SS266). Retired from AT&T after 39 years. Long time member of St. Louis Jazz Club, South Broadway Athletic Club, AT&T Pioneers and CWA steward. May his memory be eternal. The family would like to acknowledge the caring staff at Mercy Hospice. Services: Funeral from JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS South County, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road (63129), Tuesday, 10 a.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 11:00 a.m. Visitation Monday, 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Diabetes Association.
