He was born on November 18, 1949 in Lafollette, TN to the late John Henry and Dorothy Pierce.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He cherished his family dearly, especially his wife of 30 years, Jo Ann Pierce.
He was a member of Forks Grove Baptist Church. Ray was an electrician for Eagle Bend Manufacturing for 20 years and was also was co-owner of the Mary J and Ray's Unicorn Café. He will be dearly missed. Ray is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by Wife Jo Ann Pierce Sons Barry Pierce and wife Brenda David Raines and wife Cindy John Raines Sister Trula Mae Collins of Taylor, MI Brother Walter Pierce of Taylor, MI 11 Grandchildren 7 Great-Grandchildren
Family and friends wishing to attend the graveside service will meet at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 1:45pm and will go in funeral procession to the Anderson Memorial Gardens for a 2:30 graveside service with Bro. David Raines officiating
