J.D. "Bud" Walker, age 61, of Newton, died on Sunday, September 10, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at Grace Bible Church in Newton with burial to follow at Walker Cemetery in Newton. Bud was born in Jasper and had lived in Newton all of his life. He was a retired building contractor. Survivors include his wife, Carmen Walker of Newton, Texas; his 2 sons, J.D. "Bubba" Walker, III and his wife, Jennifer of Fort Worth, and Joe Walker and his wife, Jaime of Newton, Texas; his grandchildren, John David Walker, IV, Charles Gordon Walker, Caiden Walker and Caitlyn Walker; his siter, Linda Rowland of San Antonio, Texas; his brothers, Jeff Walker and Tommy Walker, both of Newton and Mark Walker of Groves, Texas, and his aunt Betty Joyce Saenz of Baytown, TX. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Dorothy Walker.
