Services for Amie Isabelle Griffin, 68, of Dallas were set for 3 p.m. today at Southland Funeral Home with the Rev. Leslie White of Lake Highlands Baptist Church in Dallas officiating. Burial will be at Southland Memorial Park.

Mrs. Griffin died Saturday at a Lancaster hospital after a short illness.

Born in Dallas, Mrs. Griffin was a former longtime resident of Grand Prairie and Irving. She retired in 1978 after 33 years of service as an assembly line worker at LTV. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie.

Survivors include a son, Dowell William Griffin of Garden Grove, Calif.; two daughters, Delores Beaty of Dallas and Geraldine Mudry of Houston; four brothers, A. A. Hendrix, Jr., Houston Hendrix and Billy Hendrix of Irving and James Ray Hendrix of Dallas; five sisters, Lillie Mae McNeil and Betty Mayhall of Irving, Louise Fortune of Midland, Evelyn Fort of Austin and Pearl Handcock of Hutchins; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
