Mr. Michael J. Gisonna, of Lindenhurst, L.I., and formerly of Washingtonville, NY and West Babylon, L.I., died Sunday, January 10, 2016; at the age of 76 years.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Alice. Surviving are his sons - Michael and daughter-in-law, Diane; Thomas and daughter-in-law, Deborah; and Christopher and daughter-in-law, Jennifer; his grandchildren - Jessica, Alexis, Thomas, James and Meghan; and his great-granddaughter, Sophia. Also surviving is his brother, James Gisonna and sister-in-law, Jane; and his sister, Kathleen Murphy and brother-in-law, William.
Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 7-9:30 p.m., and on Thursday, from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday morning, at 9:45 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption R.C. Church in Copiague. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
